You can wear anything you want when riding your gravel bike. Either your full road kit or MTB Apparel, it is totally fine. Although some new developments like cargo bib may make the ride more enjoyable if you opt for clothing designed with gravel riding in mind.

Gravel riding is undefinable. Even within gravel cycling, there's plenty of sub-genres, from flat-out racing to chilled touring and hardcore bikepacking. All of these create different demands for what we need our kit to do for us. Take the weather and trail conditions in mind too, and there's a real variety of scenarios to dress for.
