Can you do sublimation on any color shirt?
Yes, definitely. Sublimation works by binding ink to polymers within the transfer material. So anything with a sufficiently high polymer content should be able to be sublimated onto! Specific types of fabrics include polyester, nylon, and spandex, but there's a lot more!
How do you make a dye sublimation shirt?
The process is pretty simple. Create your favorite graphic and print it in reverse on a sheet of sublimation transfer paper using a desktop printer filled with Sawgrass dye sublimation ink. Then place the print on a white or light gray polyester garment and place both in your heat press.
